Document Description
The County is proposing a limited number of targeted amendments to certain General Plan policies and land use designations and a comprehensive update to the Zoning Ordinance; herein collectively referred to as the TGPA-ZOU project. A Draft EIR was previously circulated for this project. Comments received during the review process and additional new information have prompted the County to prepare a partial recirculated DEIR. The recirculated DEIR addresses proposed adoption of community design standards for landscaping/irrigation, mobile home parks, outdoor lighting, parking/loading, and research/development that were not considered in the DEIR. Additional environmental analysis of traffic, water supply, groundwater impacts, and energy conservation are also included in the RDEIR.
