Document Description
The proposal is the approval of the Rail Corridor Study and incorporation of the Vision Statement into the Comprehensive Plan. No development is proposed. The Study outlines specific policy recommendations to achieve the vision for the rail corridor area, including strategies related to circulation, land use and urban design improvements. The Rail Corridor Study was initiated the City Council to evaluate land use, transportation and urban design elements of the rail corridor in Palo Alto, particularly in response to potential improvements to fixed rail services along the Caltrain tracks.
