Document Description
The project involves the installation of two new water storage tanks by the CA Water Service Company (Cal Water) on two sites within the City of San Carlos. The sites are owned by Cal Water and are located at 3376/3384 Melendy Drive, known as Station 119, and 700 Crestview Drive, known as Station 120. Both sites currently contain existing welded steel water storage tanks with a 460,000-gallon tank at the Crestview Drive site and a 400,000-gallon tank on the Melendy Drive site. The existing tanks would remain, with one new tank installed at each site. At Station 119 (3376/3384 Melendy Drive) the proposal is to construct a new 400,000-gallon above-ground, welded steel water storage tank and at Station 120 (700 Crestview Drive) the proposal is to construct a new 410,000-gallon above-ground, weld storage tank for emergency water supply.
