Document Description
A Special Permit for work within a wetland area. Eel River Power, LLC (ERP) is proposing to conduct clean closure activities at the Tank Gulch Solid Waste Disposal Site (SWDS) located near Scotia: The approximately 5 acre Class III Waste Management Unit (WMU) is currently used as a transfer facility for non-hazardous fly ash generated from the Scotia Cogeneration plant, and has operated for approximately 19 years. Upon review of the site, a small (459 sf) wetland was identified in an area that will be impacted by grading activities. A nearby wetland was also identified which will be enlarged such that 'no net loss of wetlands' will occur.
