The proposed project is a Use Permit to construct six 197-foot tall temporary meteorological wind towers ("Met Towers"). The applicant is Pioneer Green Energy, a wind energy company based in Austin, Texas, with a local office in Woodland. The applicant received a previous approval of a Use Permit to construct two similar 60-meter tall Met Towers in the same area in 2011: those two towers have been in operation for approximately one year.
