The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0367-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Mary Grace Houlihan/City of Larkspur. This project involves the complete replacement of the existing Bon Air Road Bridge. The proposed Project will replace the existing bridge with an approximately 388-foot long, 62.5-foot wide new bridge. The bridge will continue to provide one lane of traffic in each direction and will include a 10-foot sidewalk on each side of the bridge. The bridge will be constructed and supported with abutments on either side of Corte Madera Creek and have five bridge deck spans that will be supported by four bents. Each bent will have two support columns for a total of eight new 6-foot diameter support columns installed in the creek channel to support the bridge.
