Document Description
The City proposes to replace the existing Bon Air Road Bridge with a new bridge that is 388 feet long and 62.5 feet wide. The bridge will generally follow the same alignment as the existing bridge with the north edge of the bridge extending approximately 13 feet beyond the north edge of the existing structure. The new bridge will reduce the number of spans and columns to less than half of the number that currently exist. The structure will carry one 12-foot lane of traffic in each direction and have a 6-foot Class 1 bicycle path and 5-foot sidewalk in each direction.
