The Unionhouse Creek Channel Improvements Project consists of channel upgrades, flood risk-reduction measures, and infrastructure relocation. Flood risk-reduction measures will occur in two segments of the Unionhouse Creek channel: channel widening from Center Parkway to Franklin Boulevard and creek bank lining from Bruceville Road to Center Parkway. The modification will occur along 1.6 miles of Unionhouse Creek. The primary purpose of the project is to increase the creek channel's capacity to contain 100-year storm flows.
