Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0561-R1, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Colin Hughes, representing Pacific Watershed Associates. The project is limited to 3 encroachments: replacement of one culvert, installation of one culvert, and bank stabilization at a fill slope failure. Culverts will be sized to accommodate 100-year flow, including sediment and debris, and will be installed to current standards. Bank stabilization will favor bioengineering techniques and minimize the use of imported rock. Standard treatments include mulching and seeding exposed soil, and replanting trees in-kind at a 3: 1 ratio to those removed.
