Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0516-R1 , pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Joe Scriven, representing Mendocino County Resource Conservation District. The project treats 49 stream crossings, which includes 37 culvert installations or replacements, 7 armored fill crossings, one armored ford crossing, one vented armored fill crossing, and decommission of three crossings. It also decommissions two sections of road along a waterway by removing outboard fill at the stream bank. Culverts and crossing will accommodate 100-year flow and will be installed to current standards. Standard treatments include mulching and seeding exposed soil, and replanting trees in-kind at a 3:1 ratio to those removed.
