Document Description
Pristine Sun is proposing to establish, under a twenty year lease, a 500 kW Wholesale Photovoltiac Solar Array Generator (#2039 Flournoy) on a 6.69 acre portion of a 364.35 acre parcel in an AG-2; Agriculture / Valley District. The project is located in an area identified in the General Plan as Valley Floor Agricultural. The proposed use is allowed upon securing a use permit. The land owners, George and Sandra Flournoy, own adjoining lands for a total of 392.69 acres, all of which are encumbered by a Williamson Act Contract. The project site will utilize approximately 7.007 acres (including existing access roadway) or 1.78% of the lands owned by Flournoy and encumbered by a Williamson Act Contract. The site is located 2.5 miles east of Flournoy, on the south side of Paskenta Road (County Maintained Road #56), approximately 3,200 feet east of the Boggs and Champlin Road / Paskenta Road intersection.
