Document Description
The proposed project involves the construction of a groundwater production well on TVMWD property. This Project will allow TVMWD to optimize their conjunctive use opportunities in the Six Basins. This well will provide TVMWD with the opportunity to increase groundwater extraction capabilities from the stored water account. The new well will supplement the treated surface water with groundwater when replenishment water is not available from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern CA (MWD). In addition, this project will further provide additional benefits to the region by strengthening TVMWD's local supply reliability and redundancy during regional drought periods.
