Document Description
The proposed project is to deliver a portion of Butte County's allocated State Water Project (SWP) Table A water acquired by DRWD to DRWD's service area for years 2014 through 2021. DRWD and four member units of Kern County Water Agency (KCWA), collectively called the "Westside Districts," entered into a long-term agreement with Butte County for the transfer of a portion of Butte County's allocated Table A water to Westside Districts for years 2014 through 2021. DWR will deliver a portion of Butte County's allocated Table A water acquired by DRWD to DWRD's turnout in Reach 8D of the California Aqueduct. The delivery of a portion of Butte County's allocated Table A water acquired by KCWA's member units to KCWA is addressed in a separate agreement among DWR, KCWA and Butte County (SWPAO #13015).
