Document Description
NOTE: Review Extended Per Lead The Master Plan proposes a system of trails planned along existing gravel haul roads and use trails. The trails will allow for a range of users, including equestrians, bicyclists, and pedestrians. Other trails include hiking trails and primary trails. Access to surrounding existing and proposed development is a priority of the Master Plan. Environmental preservation and restoration are goals of the Master Plan. Areas restored since mining reclamation activities have ceased will be preserved as prime habitat. Other areas have been targeted for environmental restoration, including areas fragmented by unnecessary trails and inundated with invasive plants. The Master Plan will improve upon existing boating and picnic facilities. New picnic areas and overlooks are also planned. A rezone is proposed from Agricultural Rural Valley - 20 Acre Minimum to Public Open Space.
