Document Description
The WRCB Division of Drinking Water, as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit amendment to Golden State Water Company - Los Osos (GSWC-LO) for the operation of the Rosina Ion Exchange Treatment Plant to reduce nitrate levels in Skyline Well. The new ion exchange treatment plant will be constructed at the Rosina Well site. The Rosina Ion Exchange Treatment Plant consists of five disposable 5-micron bag filters, a self-contained ion exchange unit (35 feet long, 9 feet high, and 10 feet wide) with 16 fiberglass, small bed vessels (24 inches in diameter and 65 inches tall), one 6,500 gallon brine tank, one 6,500 gallon waste tank, and precautionary chlorination treatment.
