Document Description
The project involves on-going training of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) personnel in the proper procedures of firing techniques to control wildland fires. The project area is 50 acres of grassland within the 1,000+ acre privately owned Wiggins Ranch property located west of Arbuckle, CA. The project area is entirely within State Resonsibility Area, is zoned as ranch land and used as grazing land for cattle. CAL FIRE Type 3 engines and a fire suppression helicopter will be used for training burn and will be present for all burning activities.
