Document Description
This project, to be carried out by Groundwork San Diego-Chollas Creek, involves the planting of 50 trees at Horton Elementary, Millenniel Tech Middle School, and the Southcrest Recreation Center. It is anticipated that this project will commence in April of 2012, and be completed by March 2014. Trees will be native and non-native ornamentals that have been selected for their disease resistance, adaption to the urban landscape, shade capacity, and minimal litter production. Trees will be planted using 15 gallon commercial stock. All trees will be planted, staked and tied, watered and maintained in accordance with CAL Fire guidelines.
