Document Description
This project, to be carried out by the City of Fontana, involves planting 500 trees at various locations and schools within the City of Fontana. It is anticipated that this project will commence in April fo 2012, and be completed by March 2014. Trees will be native and non-native oramentals that have been selected for their disease resistance, adaption to the urban landscape, shade capacity, and minimal litter production. Trees will be planted using 15 gallon commercial stock. All trees will be planted, staked and tied, watered and maintained in accordance with CAL Fire guidelines.
