Document Description
Approval of a Draft Human Health Risk Assessment/Removal Action Workplan (hereafter Workplan) by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to Health & Safety Code, Chapter 6.8 as submitted on June 27, 2011 by Parsons, Inc. The Workplan focuses on excavation and removal of contaminated soils to mitigate soil impacted with excessive levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and arsenic. The purpose of the project is to mitigate impacted soils that exceed the project-specific human health risk criteria to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (COCs).
