CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA #1600-2012-0035-R6) of the Fish and Game Code to the project Permittee, Southern California Edison Co. Permittee proposes to the install a geomembrane liner on the upstream face of Agnew Lake Dam, repair the deteriorated concrete areas along the dam face, and conduct repairs to the trash rack and outlet system. To conduct the project, Permittee will draw down Agnew Lake prior to beginning work activities in August 2012, when lake levels are normally low and the dame face is exposed. The dam outlet valve will remain open for the duration of the project to allow natural flows to pass through Rush Creek. The geomembrane will be installed using swingstages and minimal scaffolding. Work is expected to take 6 weeks to complete.
