Document Description
The proposed project is funded by the State Water Resources Control Board, through the Clean Water Act (CWA) 319(h)- Nonpoint Source Implementation, to improve water quality in the Shasta River by constructing riparian fencing, installing riparian planting, and constructing off-stream livestock watering facilities. The purpose of the project is to identify and implement projects to improve water quality through the protection and enhancement of high priority riparian areas of the Shasta River and its tributaries. The project includes pre- and post-construction monitoring activities.
