Document Description
Areas upstream and downstream of Creek Drive Bridge on Aptos Creek have been affected by fallen trees and garbage debris. Large debris upstream of Creek Drive Bridge has the potential to accumulate at the bridge due to a low clearance. Debris accumulation at Creek Drive Bridge have previously compromised structural integrity of the bridge and exacerbated flood conditions by reducing stream conductance in high flow events.
Approximately 50 linear feet upstream of Creek Drive Bridge on both banks and 150 linear feet downstream on the north bank will be cleared of fallen trees, limbs, branches and any human generated garbage.
