Document Description
The project consists of installation of two pedestrian crosswalks across Carillion Boulevard, a four lane arterial street with a center median. The two pedestrian crosswalks are located on each side of the Deadman Gulch creek and will provide a street level crossing of the pedestrian/bike trail along each side of the creek. The crosswalks will provide much safer connection to access a community park and four schools in the area. Originally, a below street crossing was constructed through the drainage culvert, but that culvert has seen increased agricultural runoff in recent years so that it is rarely passable. The two crosswalks will be about 150 feet apart and each one will have push button flashers and cuts through the median island.
