Document Description
Removing emergent vegetation (tules, cattails and willow scrub) from the Reservoir Dam face and inlet canal. Vegetation removal is proposed with a long boom excavator using a standard flat blade bucket that will scrape/scoop the vegetation and root masses off of the dam and canal inlet. The excavated material will be loaded directly into waste receptacle bins and hauled off-site to an appropriate waste recycler, only incidental fall back of material is anticipated back into the reservoir. The area proposed for vegetation removal is estimated at 965 feet of shoreline along the dam face and canal, totaling approximately 0.50 acres of vegetation. The maintenance activity will remove approximately 1000 cubic yards of material.
