Document Description
The Department of Mental Health is proposing to install an automated fire sprinkler system for the Skilled Nursing Facilities Building - Units 417-420 at the Metropolitan State Hospital. The project also includes associated work, such as, asbestos removal (as necessary), electrical and and plumbing renovations and minor construction to accommodate the automatic sprinkler systems. New piping installed within the existing finished ceiling will be conscealed behind existing (or replacement) ceilings. where replacement ceilings and/or patching is required, the finished surface will replicate existing conditions to the extent practicable. In addition, approximately 1,000 feet of underground piping will be installed at the Metropolitan State Hospital.
