Document Description
The project is to install centerline and shoulder ground-in rumble strips. The purpose is to reduce frequency of and severity of cross over and 'run-off-road' collisions by alerting drivers when they are veering out of their lane. Investigation of traffic fatality indicates treatment is needed at this location. All work, including staging, will occur within the Caltrans Right of Way on existing pavement, and there will be no ground disturbance.
