The goal of the proposed Climate Action Plan and related plans/programs is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 10 percent below 2005 levels by the year 2020, as required by Assembly Bill 32, the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006; and the 2008 Settlement Agreement between the City of Stockton, the Attorney General of California, and the Sierra Club.
