Document Description
The proposed project is the construction of a new, permanent helistop (helicopter landing facility) at the Kaiser Vacaville Medical Center (Medical Center) for the non-routine transport of seriously injured or ill patients. The project site is on the western side of the Kaiser campus, and is currently developed as an employee parking lot. Several safety features are part of the project design, including pathways, fencing, signage and lighting. The projected number of landings and take-offs cannot be predicted with precise accuracy but is expected to remain low, likely averaging five landings and take-offs per month.
