CDFW is executing Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0062-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Permittee, the University of California, Santa Barbara, represented by Mr. Daniel Dawson. The In-Stream Diversion Structure Replacement Project includes the excavation and replacement of three replicate, artificial stream channel diversions fed by Convict Creek. The Streambed Alteration Agreement is being issued to address 0.06 acres of temporary impacts to Convict Creek (project). The project includes: the dewatering of the Project; the removal of less than one cubic yard of accumulated organic sediment from the areas adjacent the in-stream diversion structures; the demolition and excavation of each of the three replicate channel diversions using a jackhammer and excavator; the installation of in-kind concrete diversions; and rewatering of the project area.
