The California Department of Public Health (Department) is a responsible agency for this project. The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 50 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Alderpoint County Water Agency proposes to replace existing intake pumps adjacent to the Eel River, remove and replace a treatment building, install a new filtration system and clearwell, and install a new transmission water pipe along existing rights of way and easements to storage site. The existing storage tank will be replaced with two new tanks.
