Document Description
The project site is currently a designated "Timberland Production Zone" pursuant to the Timberland Productivity Act of 1982 (Government Code Section 51100). The Timberland Production Zone is comprised of five parcels' totaling ~160 acres of forestland. The applicant has requested to immediately rezone ~35 acres of forestland from the Timber Production (TP) zone district to the Timberland (TL) zone district to facilitate development of a future home site and pursuant to Government Code Section 51130. A typical home site in rural areas of the County would consist of the development of a well, septic system, dwelling, residential accessory building(s) and areas dedicated to landscaping and/or agricultural activities.
