Document Description
The Meritage Senior Living Project is located on Jonata Park Road, at the north end of the city limits. The general plan land use designation and zoning is General Commercial (CR). The site comprises ~18 acres on APNs 099-400-064 and 099-400-065. Portions of the site are currently used for grazing and farming. A small residence and some outbuildings are currently on the site and will be removed. The two existing parcels will be split into six parcels. Parcels one and two will remain vacant and are 2.79 acres each. Parcels three, four, five, and six are planned as a new senior care facility. A skilled nursing facility with 24 units and an enclosed garden will be located on parcel three, which is 2.07 acres. The skilled nursing building will have two stories and will be 33 feet in height. A memory building with 40 units, an enclosed garden 91 assisted living units, a dining hall, and commercial kitchen will be located on parcel four, which is 5.39 acres.
