Potential Industries, the operator, is a Recycling Materials Sorting Facility as defined in Section 12.03 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code. The operator is applying for a Solid Waste Facility Permit to allow for future growth which may result in the non-recyclable material at this site to exceed the ten percent threshold established by CalRecycle regulations. PI will be expanding the use of their current site by replacing their 36,000 sf warehouse with a 38,950 sf Material Recovery Facility building which will include a baler and a subterranean garage. PI will also be building a 5,485 sf office addition to their existing office space.
