Document Description
CA Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo proposes to make repairs to Nelson Reservoir and improve inflow and outflow systems on site. The project will entail lining or compaction of an existing ditch connecting Middlecamp and Nelson Reservoirs, replacement of an inflow culvert, repair of the Nelson Reservoir outfall culvert, installation of a pump platform and sand filtration system, and associated piping. The project will also include rewiring and installation of power poles to connect the reservoir area and Cheda Ranch to the campus power grid. The long-term goal of the project is to provide the proper and safe functioning of Nelson Reservoir and adjoining infrastructure. Ground disturbance will be less than 1 acre, and the project will proceed under permits from USACE, RWQCB, and CDFG.
