Pursuant to Chapter 6.8 of the Health and Safety Code, the Project is the Department of Toxic Substances Control's (DTSC's) approval of a remediation/containment of the waste and control of the landfill gas (LFG) at the Site that includes the following activities: * Installation of an alternative landfill cap comprised of existing site soil, to the maximum extent practicable, that will be equivalent to the Title 27 Prescriptive Landill Cap; * Monitoring of the Site surface for LFG emmissions through the cap and the subsurface boundary probes for potential offsite LFG migration.
