Document Description
The San Bernardino County Flood Control District is proposing to prevent flooding and erosion at the confluence of Plunge and Elder Creek, by improving the grade and stabilizing the slopes of Plunge Creek, and by widening and stabilizing slopes within Elder Creek. Stabilization will require use of rip-rap in sections of both channels. These improvements will also require replacement of the boxed culverts located at Merris Street and at Abbey Way and improvements to access roads along Elder Channel. The project also seeks regulatory approval for long-term maintenance.
