Document Description
SWRCB will be issuing a water supply permit. The East Valley Water District proposed included the construction of two steel water storage tanks with a volume of 4.50 MG, each 179-ft diameter and 24-ft side water depth; and one baffled welded steel break tank with a volume of 1 MG, 84-ft diameter and 24-ft side station that would contain three-2,500 GPM pumps and one-1,500 GPM pump. The proposed project would require an electrical building which would house pumps, power metering, switch gear, motor starters, VFD's control, and other electrical equipment required to facilitate future operations. The proposed project would also include a portable backup power generator in the building for emergencies, estimated to be 400 kW is size. In addition, the proposed project will require modifications to the existing piping and valving. Modifications include disconnection, construction of new pipeline, and additional segments. SWRCB will be issuing a water supply permit for the segment of the project in which construction has been completed; this includes one 1MG storage tank. An additional water supply permit will be required for the remaining of the project upon the completion of construction.
