Document Description
Special Use Permit for a solid waste recycling operation. Materials include hazardous used oil, anti-freeze and contaminated soil, as well as non-hazardous used oil filters and waste water. Waste materials are collected on the site in secure containers and for the time periods allowed by law, before being transported to other sites for recycling. The applicant's business, Kern Oil Filter Recycling, transport materials only and does not store, treat or transfer hazardous waste materials from truck to truck. The project's Phase 2 expansion would involve 9 employees and 8 trucks on a 3.05 acre site.
