Document Description
CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA #1600-2012-0043-R6) of the Fish and Game Code to the project Permittee, County of San Bernardino Regional Parks. The Permitte proposes to excavate between 40,000 and 210,000 cubic yards of sediment from the bed of Horseshoe Lake, so that final lake bed will have a maximum depth of 8 feet. Permittee also proposes to construct a 2,200 linear foot reinforcing levee abutment on the lake side of the existing damaged levee. Additionally, the existing spillway weir/meter will be reconstructed to restore water delivery. Two new emergency spillways, each 56 feet wide, it will also be constructed out of concrete and will be designed to withstand 100 year storm events.
