RPRP is an approx. nine mile corridor extending east from the City of San Bernardino to the City of Redlands, and includes local and express train service. SBCTA certified a FEIR for the project in March 2015. Following additional coordination with local stakeholders, SBCTA is proposing minor refinements to the project in the vicinity of Downtown Redlands. These refinements include the construction of separate Metrolink and DMU platforms at the downtown Redlands Station and relocation of the DMU platform to a position south of the track alignment and immediately north of the Redlands Santa Fe Depot. Expanded improvements at Eureka Street will also be required.
