Document Description
The request is to amend Shasta County General Plan Policy CO-k which limits minimum parcel sizes in Urban Residential (UR) and Suburban Residential (SR) area to five acres if public water and sewer systems are not available. The proposed policy amendment would promote using on-site septic systems and wells to allow parcel sizes as small as one-acre in certain UR and SR General Plan areas where the availability of community water or sewer services is not feasible.
