Document Description
This project for geotechnical investigation is an important component of the proposed California HST Program. The purpose of the project is to collect geotechnical data to support preliminary design of high-speed rail trackway features along the Merced to Fresno Section of the California HST Program, including at-grade trackway, viaducts, bridges, local road crossings, earth embankments, and retaining walls. Data collection conssists of conducting exploratory soil borings and cone penetrometer test (CPT) soundings within public ROWs.
