Document Description
On January 24, 2012, Reclamation filed a petition for temporary urgency change with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights to extend the season of redivision of Permit 13776 (Application 18115). Under Permit 13776, 160,000 acre-feet of water is diverted to storage in Black Butte Reservoir and 38,293 acre-feet is released from storage for rediversion at the Stony Creek Siphon (Constant Head Orifice or CHO) into the Tehama-Colusa Canal. With the temporary urgency change petition, the Permittee has proposed to increase the permitted season of rediversion for 30 days, from May 15, 2012 to June 15, 2012. The season of diversion will not be extended since the water to be rediverted is currently stored in Black Butte Reservoir.
