Caltrans proposes to replace the wire ropes on the bridge. The scope of work includes: Remove the operating drum covers; clean the operating drums and turning sheaves; use new turnbuckles, rope clips, and new rope stud ends; reuse the spreader bas and eyebolts; and install/repair all dampers.
