Document Description
The project consists of the reconstruction of a deteriorated weir on Gerle Creek, a primary feature of USGS Stream Gauge Station No. 11429500 (Loon Lake Reach Stream Flow Gauging Station), in preparation for increased in-stream flow requirements. The existing weir at this location consist of two small diversions between existing boulders, a 7-foot long weir across the stream thalwag, and a 7-foot long wing wall newar the left bank. SMUD will reconstruct the weir at the same location, and add a rock crevice will be filled near the left bank of Gerle Creek. A total of .00005 acres of concrete will be permanently place within waters of the State.
