Document Description
The embankment along Caltrans Bridge 58-007, located at the western entrance of the City of Holtville experiences significant soil erosion which further damages a bicycle path previously constructed utilizing Caltrans funding and the water quality of the Alamo River, an impaired body of water. In order to mitigate the erosion problem, the following are proposed: rock mulch and bioswales. the project site to be covered by the rock blanket and mulch, consists of approximately 18,587 square feet. The project will also incorporate bridge safety features such as lighting to increase night time visibility.
