Document Description
The project area is approximately four miles southeast of Angels Camp City, in Calavaras County. The project area is approximately 1/5 acres in size and located at the top of a flat rocky peak. Vegetation consists primarily of scatted oaks, grass and brush. The project area has been highly disturbed due to the installation of the Fowler Peak lookout/repeater. The project involves the removal of the old repeater building, construction of a 10' x 18; generator building that will house a new generator, installation of a propane tank, and associated connecting lines. THe new generator will ensure a constant supply of power to the repeater in the event that the main power supply provided by PG&E is interrupted.
