Document Description
Construct a shaded fuel break within fifty feet of both sides of Cathey Road. The project area is approximately 18 acres and is made up of various brush species as well as Douglas-Fir, Redwood and Tan Oak trees. The project will provide the Cathey Road Community services access for fire control and emergency response will be improved. The project will include limbing, pruning and brushing the area. This area has been treated in the past with a similar treatment. The resulting hazardous fuels will be treated by a combination of chipping, pile burning and lop and scatter. Operations shall not take place between March 24th and September 15th within the designated marbled murrlet restriction zone.
