Document Description
Construct a river parkway in 1.25 miles of previously restricted Los Angeles County Flood Control District right-of-way along the Los Angeles River. A landscaped trail will be constructed to include native drought-tolerant landscaping, bioswales to capture and treat surface runoff, irrigation, improved fencing, rest area amenities and educational and interpretive signage. A prefabricated pedestrian bridge will be placed across the Brown's Creek tributary channel at Mason Avenue. A pedestrian bridge will be constructed across Kelvin Channel that empties into the La River from the south bank near De Soto Avenue.
