Document Description
The project is a five-year study by the Unites States Fish and Wildlife Service and California Department of Fish and Game. Chinook salmon are scheduled for reintroduction into the SJR by December 31, 2012 as part of the San Joaquin River Restoration Program. In order to successfully reintroduce both fall-run and spring-run Chinook salmon information must be gathered regarding habitat use, migration behavior, and potential sources of juvenile salmon mortality.
